I was trained as an artist and received an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). But I spent more than three decades as a commercial film and video director. During this time I was also the creator of Operation Dragon, an epic graphic novel that was published by Dark Horse Books.

I’ve been fortunate to work with teams of very talented people, and have learned a tremendous amount from these collaborations. I’ve also been fortunate to be exposed to many artists that have inspired and influenced me, including Lazlo Moholy-Nagy, Jenny Holzer, Barbara Krueger, and El Lissitzsky.

Now, a few years into my life as an artist, I draw upon all this experience to create work that is not designed to sell a product or even a particular idea. My interest is in uncovering the essential, ineffable nature of reality.and human thought.
