I have always loved nature dioramas in museums. At the Museum of Natural History in New York City, I made several photographs of the dioramas. I combined these with photographs of industrial devastation that I’ve taken in various sites around the world. The resulting work comments on the intrusion of human works into the natural world and the many species that are near extinction.
